[Automotive] Assembly Jigs

The use of 3D printed assembly jigs for the automotive sector is one of the most common applications concerning the 3D printing.

Components obtained by means of mechanical processing help improve the quality, increase production volumes and reduce the human error factor.

In compliance with dimensional tolerances, these tooling can also be realized on large format, thanks to the use of efficient and stable materials - such as BASF PLA Pro1.

The picture shows very lightweight interchangeable masks made with an anti-error (poka-yoke) system to achieve "zero defects", giving maximum flexibility to the production line.

Our industrial 3D printer Fabbrix® ELEMENTO V2.1 proves to be a formidable tool for operators, specialists and production technicians who can design parts adapted and optimized on the needs of the user, rather than on the manufacturing process.
